Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of 'President of India' and it is located at the opposite end of the Rajpath from the India Gate. It is designed by 'Edward Lutyens' and he used combination of western as well as eastern style for decoration.
A large copper dome represents the Indian touch. The Durbar Hall is of 23 meters in diameter, decorated flooring with coloured marbles. On the west side of this building, a 'Mughal garden' is present which 30 hectares in area is and it is on the west of the building. This garden is open to the public in February and in starting days of March each year. On the south is Flagstuff House and now it is known as 'Teen Murti Bhavan'.
