On the eastern side of the end of Lodi road, Safdarjang's Tomb is located and it is also open since early morning till late evening, but it is little visited. This tomb was built by the 'Nawab of Awadh' in the year 1753 to 1754 for his father.
This tomb is also one of the last examples of Mughal architecture before the final ending of the empire. This tomb stands on the high terrace and it is surrounded by extensive walled garden. One can feel the pleasant retreat from the urban bustle here. This tomb is on a walk away from the Lodi Garden.
