Kanchula Korak musk deer sanctuary is located just 7 kilometers away from the Chopta hills on the Chopta- Gopeshwar road. This sanctuary is famous for the breeding musk deer. This place covers an area of about 5 square meters; from here people can view some of the rare Himalayas wildlife. Kanchula Korak musk sanctuary is also popular for its dense forest and perfumed flowers.


Tungnath is located just 3 kilometers away from the Chopta hills. This is on the altitude of about 368o meters above sea level. This is the highest temple of the Panch Kedar.

There are guesthouses and private lodges available near Tungnath but these are full in the peak season. There are rest rooms available on short distance for taking rest to pass time for some time.
