Ziro hills are located about 150 kilometers away from Itanagar, capital city of Arunachal Pradesh. This place is also well-known as Apatani Plateau. Local people of this place are called as Apatani tribal. It is a small town which is surrounded with valleys from all sides. It is a beautiful hill station covered with Pine and bamboo groves. This place is famous for rice cultivation in India.

In Ziro the Apatani tribal are now well advanced and developed like the other cities of Arunachal Pradesh. There is the heights point on the Ziro hills where a fish farm is popular for its whispering pine and handicraft centre. This place is covered with huge trees all over the area. Tale sanctuary:

Tale sanctuary is located just 38 kilometers away from the Ziro hills. First through jeep you have to travel 30 kilometers of zero crossing Siro. Further you have to do trekking to reach destination which is of just 8 kilometers. This sanctuary has a natural botanical garden, which covers an area of about 337 square kilometers.

Menga's Natural Cave:

This is located at a distance of about 19 kilometers away from the city of Ziro. People have to crawl here to see the natural beauty of the narrow crevice of the cave. People have to carry a torch without fail and from this cave there is a main cave further which is of lord Mahadev.
